GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE SECTOR

 

ACTIVE:

Draycott Solar & Storage

Developing and managing a 1Gigawatt solar and storage portfolio across the UK, Germany, Italy and Greece on behalf of an Israeli IPP. The portfolio comprises both greenfield and ready to build plants.

 

Draycott Biogas

Assembling a portfolio of biogas plants across Italy and Germany on behalf of a consortium of investors. Draycott is a co-investor and is responsible for the execution of the acquisitions as well as their conversion to biomethane and liquefaction/cryogenic storage.

 

Draycott Waste Management

Executing and co-investing alongside Fordgate Energy (fully owned by the Fordgate Group) the acquisition of a 320,000t/year waste management facility in the UK that is being currently converted into a state-of-the-art recycling facility.

 

 

REALIZED:

Danish Biogas Platform

Sustainable Bio Solutions K/S (https://www.sbskliplev.dk/) is a venture between Draycott Advisors, Hudson Sustainable Investments and Lincoln Equities Group that has acquired the land and project rights to build the world’s largest biogas plant fed by animal manure in Aabenraa, Denmark.
Principals at Draycott structured and executed the investment, including successfully running the EPC tender and putting together the local management team.

 

Solar EPC and Battery Storage Advisory

Successfully advised Metka-EGN’s minority shareholders on the sale of their remaining stake to Mytilineos. Metka-EGN is one of the world’s leading solar and battery storage EPC contractors.

 

Equinox Energy Capital

Raised and deployed c. $120m in equity for Equinox Energy, a renewable energy fund that invested in the UK solar sector. Capital was raised from Elliott Management, a leading US hedge fund and the family office of a UK-based high-net-worth individual.

The fund bought the project rights and built six solar parks with a total capacity of 82.4MW. Following the successful completion and connection of the solar parks, the team executed a rigorous value creation plan that resulted in enhanced operational performance and increased cash flow to investors.

The assets were refinanced with project financing provided by a consortium of international banks, and the portfolio was sold to United Photovoltaics Group Limited of Hong Kong, generating above average returns for investors.

TECH SECTOR

 

ACTIVE:

Israeli Foodtech Start-Ups

Advising one of the co-founders of the Ashmore Group and a cornerstone investor in Beyond Meat on additional investments in the Israeli Foodtech space as well as the technology sector in general. Responsible for identifying potential investment opportunities, analyzing the potential market and associated risks, vetting management, evaluating financials, and execution.

 

Lyft

Pre-IPO investors in the ride sharing company that operates the well-known app offering rides, bicycle-sharing, and a food delivery service.

 

Spark Cognition

Pre-IPO investors in a company building leading artificial intelligence solutions that analyze complex data, empower decision making, and transform human and industrial productivity with machine learning technology focused on defense, IIoT, and finance.
